ONE HUGE PROBLEM is that the sizes seem different from other brands, i was an L in sheild but here the chart is a bit confusing so i bought L i could easily take the glove off after fasting all the velcros,but honestly i can’t surely say its just a size issue or the way its manufactured, you should surely do the pull test after buying to ensure glove doesn’t come off,i hand stitched extra velcro pads on all three fasteners to make it grip tighter, and its tight now so i would say careful on your size and do pull test, other than that it feels durable haven’t used it on tours yet, seems comfortable enough, the palm sliders are a bit on the smaller side but not terrible and theres two of them which is great , the stitches are crooked in a couple of places but thats just looks i think it will function alright,3k was a good price for what it is, definitely not for touring use though because the 3 velcro pads on full gauntlets get really annoying if you have to take them off often to use phone or wallet but the touch worked great with the gloves on ,will only know after a couple of washes if it stays that way ,haven’t washed it yet so don’t know about shrinkage,overall good upgrade from my old sheild fur , which i accidentally washed on high heat in the washing machine it shrunk and disintegrated, so wash it in cold settings always
things that would make this better
- stitching on the outside of the fingers rather than inside for comfort
-visor wipes on index fingers
- reflective patch on wrist
- bigger palm sliders
- better sizing information
- washing instructions on a paper or on the website
-stitch the last two fingers together
the best combo would be to make a version of this in semi gauntlet version like the shield GT gloves under 3k, would work great for protection on street and tours be less hot and easier to slip in and out off,
all ways buy all leather gloves like this one its better grip on the bars better feel on the hand and most importantly NOTHING slides as well as leather does without wearing, watch fortnine(not fortnite) test videos , i saw they have just launched a new wrist size glove that looks great BUT no leather on the palm the tarm swift black glove is great and probably what i should’ve bofor touring use but the black one is2.5k other colors are only 2k i think the full gauntlets were only 500 more so smaller one didn’t seem like a good deal
